Only 20 calories are from fat.The sodium content is 480 mg, with 42g carbs and 8g of protein. It is very easy to make in the microwave but can be made with just boiling water. Hot is such a subjective description but, to my taste, this product is more spicy than hot. It's one of my favorite Dr. McDougall vegan products. 7 of 7 people found the following review helpful love the 2 spicy ones, By This review is from: Dr. McDougall's Right Foods Asian Entree, Spicy Kung Pao Noodle, 2-Ounce Packages (Pack of 6) (Grocery) cheap ramen smell disgusting and aren't vegan. this one is and it tastes delicious. the price does suck but really that's what convenience foods like this should cost. it should always be cheaper to make your own food. so for the few times when i do not have time to cook, it is worth the $2 (or 1.50 on sale sometimes in supermarket) 5 of 5 people found the following review helpful Delicious for a packaged convenience food, By veronica s (Boston, MA) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Dr. McDougall's Right Foods Asian Entree, Spicy Kung Pao Noodle, 2-Ounce Packages (Pack of 6) (Grocery) Make no mistake... this is a pre-packaged, instant convenience food. Unfortunately, my microwave doesn't have a high or low setting so it was just a little dry by the end of the last 4 minutes. I'd probably do 2 or 3 minutes for the second microwaving and see how that goes next time.I also think the packaging is a little misleading. It looks similar to the packaging of products like Annie Chun's Udon Soup Noodle Bowl in which you have more of a bowl or meal tray that contains noodles and flavor or sauce packets. It is in fact a soup cup to which you add water and... Read more |
